ConferenceBeat Scanner (CBS) Portal Reporting - Attendance/CEU tracking

Attendance/CEU Scanning


Reports

In the admin portal, go to CB Scanner > Attendance 
  • Summary: The summary screen will show users who have been scanned into a session or event. This will display 1 entry per person even if they were scanned multiple times.
    • As you scroll over the table, you will see the user profile information, the session details, time checked in and out and admin who scanned.
    • You can download this report by clicking on the download CSV file button.

  • Processed Scans: This shows all scans captured in the CBS app, including multiple scans for the same user/session or event.
    • You can see successful scans, including profile information, session/event details and check in/out timestamps.
    • You can download the report by clicking on the "download CSV" file button.

  • Failed Scans: This will show a report of failed scans, including a reason for the failed scan.
    • You can click on the "reprocess scan" icon if the issue has been resolved and you need to process the scan
    • Scans can be reprocessed using the bulk action at the bottom of the screen. First select the check box/es next to the names. Then, click on the bulk action button at the bottom of the page.

  • Rejected Scans. This will include scans that were rejected due to session overlap. Note: to prevent overlap, turn off the setting under Continued Ed > Check in and Check out to allow for overlapping check ins. Note: The check in and check out timing corresponds to the check in/out times in the portal.
    • Click on the "accept this anyway" to process a scan that was rejected for overlapped timing.

  • Pending Scans: if scans have not fully processed due to Wi-Fi connection, etc. 
    • Click on the "process this record" to push the scan. Note: scans will sync automatically once the device is back online.
