How to create a link to a specific section of the app

Link to a page in Notifications and/or Email templates:

  1.  Log into the app and open the page you would like to link to.  In this example, the event evaluation.
  2. Copy the URL at the top of the page, see image.

3. Paste the URL into the body of the notification or email template, see image. You can paste the URL directly (1) or use the WYSIWYG editor to create a link (2) (see instructions in that section below).

4. When the user clicks on the link from the notification/email, it will take them directly to that page in the app.  Please note: if it is a feature that requires the user to be logged in, it will direct them to log in prior to opening the page.

Link to a page in static content:

  1. Create your static content page by clicking on the Static content tab in the admin portal > Add Content
  2. Go to the page in the app you would like to link to, copy the URL and paste into the WYSIWYG editor of the static content page. Same instructions as above.
  3. Save your content.
    1. Check out the instructional guides in the static content section for detailed instructions on creating static content in the app. Please note: you must add a navigation icon to see static content in the app.

  1. Select "Internal URL" Note: you can link to external links as well using the complete URL or any external URL, see Navigation help articles for more information.
  2. Paste the URL into the "Please enter" box
  3. Change the Menu Item label to the title you want showing in the app under the icon.
  4. Save

Link to a page in a WYSIWYG editor - using the link button:

You can add a link (to a page in the app or any external link) to any section with a WYSIYG editor.  Some examples might be a session description in the agenda, transcripts, chat room, photo gallery, game instructions, registration forms, surveys, emails and notifications.

  2. Copy the URL from the page in the app (see above instructions)
