App Check List and Timeline for Launch
You will want to review the Introduction to the Admin Portal and the Build your Event App help articles as references for building out your event app. Both can be found in HELP (top navigation right-hand side).
App Checklist
- Add your additional admins in the Users & Team > Admin > Add New section of the portal. COMPLETED ____
Branding: add a header banner and icon to your app to visually identify your app.
- Add banner in the Branding > Header Rotator > Add Rotator section. Format: 960px X 100px png or jpg COMPLETED ____
- Add icon in the Branding > Icon section. Required image format is png or jpg. For the native iOS app, the app icon must be 1024px X 1024px COMPLETED ____
Upload Examples: Many areas in the app allow you to add data by uploading a CSV file. As reference to fields available and formats please review the attached upload files for reference. NOTE: you do NOT need to have all of the fields in the example file in your upload file.
- User upload example You can upload your users in Users & Teams > Upload Users. Note: first name, last name, and Unique email address are required fields. DON'T FORGET to check the Attendee Team box during the upload process for your attendee file - this will ensure they are included in the directory. Your users will control what profile information is included in the directory (ie: the user will opt-in if he/she wants to share contact information but by default no contact information is included in the directory). - Agenda upload example You can upload your agenda in the Agenda > Upload Sessions section. More information on the date field formats etc. are included on the Upload screen. You ASSIGN SPEAKERS to sessions in this upload process. The speaker email address is required. COMPLETED ____
- Organizations upload example You can upload exhibitor and sponsor company information, including booth representatives, in the Exhibitors and Sponsors > Upload section. COMPLETED ____
- Notifications upload example You can schedule push notifications targeting all your attendees, specific teams, and even individual attendees in the Notifications > Upload section. COMPLETED ____
- Work across the Admin. portal top navigation tabs to build out your event app or work down the side navigation to build out your event app starting at the Dashboard section. Follow the 2.) Build Your Event App instructions for more information. COMPLETED ____
- Navigation: Add features and sections to your app in the Navigation section. Note if it isn't a link on navigation, your user can't access it. IE: build a chatroom add it to navigation so users can access it. Allowing Speakers to create poll questions, add Polling to navigation for access. Take an inventory of all of the features you setup in the admin poral, now confirm those items are links in the navigation section.

Contact Support: To change the default configuration for the below elements in your app contact support. COMPLETED ____
- User Login Security: By default, your event is set-up as a private event, meaning to interact with a majority of app features, all users must login to the app with a unique email address recognized by the system (added through the admin portal) Venue maps, social, app FAQs, and Support forms are available to all (logged in or NOT). If you prefer your app be public, allowing any users to create their own user profile to log in, please contact support.
- App Permissions: By default many sections of the app requires login for full access and interaction. You can however, allow users who are NOT yet logged in to see some sections of the app (i.e. agenda or a venue map). Please contact Support@resultsathand.com to determine if a section can be visible to all users (logged in or NOT).
- In App Messaging: If you would like your users to be able to connect and message inside the app (similar to LinkedIn), please contact support. This feature is available to standard and premium app plans (Not Basic).
- Check your build out of the app as you work on it. Utilize the Go To App button on the top navigation bar of the admin portal next to Help, to access the web app.

App Timeline (standard or basic app only)
Note: Premium Event Apps require submission to the AppStore and Google Play. Submission must be scheduled through R@H Support and occurs a minimum of 3 weeks prior to event launch.
