ConferenceBeat Scanner (CBS) - Scanning for Leads without an Event App
To scan for leads at your event follow these 4 simple steps:
Step 1: Install the ConferenceBeat Scanner App

Important: Your first time opening CB Scanner, you will be greeted with a request to access your device camera. This is for
the scanning functionality. YOU MUST GRANT ACCESS TO THE CAMERA to use the APP
Step 2: Login
Admin note: If you would like passwords pre-set for your exhibitors, please contact support@resultsathand.com
There are 3 ways to log into the app:
1. Existing Password Login:
- This method requires a log in email and password sent in the instruction email.
- Click on the Envelope Icon (see image below) - this is the default view
- IF you have previously logged into the corresponding Event App, use the same email and
password to log in.

2. Create Password - First time logging in:
- This method allows you to create a new password using the same email address used to register for the event.
- Click on the "First time logging in" button (see image below)
- This will send a code to your email so your new password can be created.
- If you will also be using the Event App, you will use the same email and password you have created.

3. OR Code Login:
- This method can only be used with on-site badge printing
- A secure log in QR code may print with your badge (2nd page). If so, you can
click on the "QR Icon" and use the QR code to log in. (see image below)

Once logged in, you will be presented with a list of events. Select the event you are attending.
Step 3: Scan Contact
From the home screen you can select Scan a Contact to begin scanning the contact's QR code on the badge or app. . After you scan an attendee you can go to the contact's profile (B in below image) to rate or take notes on the profile. You can can continue scanning the next contact by selecting the arrow button (C in the below image) or you can cancel the scan by tapping the 'x' (A in the below image).

Step 4: Contact Profile
From the the Connections Screen you can access attendee profiles to give star ratings and take notes. Select your contact by tapping the contact's name to access the contact's profile screen. From here you can do a number of things:
a) provide a star rating based on potential
b) take notes
c) add to your device's contacts
d) chat with the user (coming soon)

Step 4: Download your Leads
From the Connections List screen select the download button to download the CSV to your device.
