Admin Portal Tables

Tables within the Admin Portal

Throughout the Admin Portal, you will come across tables of your data.

The actions you are allowed to take vary between contexts, but many of the functions remain the same throughout. Below is an example screen of one of the admin portal tables with further details.

Notes
Even though details change accross each table, the features below are universal

  1. Action Icons: these action icons are quick tools to edit your app’s data. Action icons vary by each feature within the app. Simply click the appropriate action icon next to the record you want to edit. See the Action Legend above the table for an explanation of each action icon.
  2. Download CSV: click this button to download a CSV Excel file of your existing data. This will include only the data visible on the table. Note: There are some sections (agenda, exhibitors, users) where you can click on the "download tab" in the menu bar for all of the data included in that section.
  3. Show Entries: use the dropdown to edit the number of entries you would like to see within the table on a single page. This is helpful for larger sets of data.
  4. Search: use the search bar to locate any record within your existing data. As you type, records with the following search will appear in the data table.
  5. Show / Hide Columns: tap this button to see available columns for your data. Select/ deselect any column you want to show/ hide from the provided list.
  6. Showing All Records: tap this button to toggle between showing all (active and inactive) records within your data table and showing ONLY active records.
  7. Help Articles:  most sections in the admin portal will include a green "help article" button which displays the number of articles available in that section. Click on the button to view articles pertaining to that section.
  8. Pages: use the following buttons to view your remaining pages of data, if applicable.
  9. Bulk Actions: use this tool to update large sections of data. To complete the action, you will first need to click the check box next to each record you would like to update. To perform an action on all data on that page, select the check box next to "actions" at the top of the table to select all.
