Admin Users

Under the Manage Admins tab, you will see a table of your existing administrators. Below is an example screenshot of the Admin Users screen with further details.

  1. Use the action icons to edit, remove or add as an app user.
    • Edit: click on the edit icon to update the admin first name, last name or email. Click on the "change password" tab to update the admin password, see image below.

  •  Remove: clicking on the trash can icon will delete this user as an admin in the event. Please note, even if you remove an admin and add them back as a user, they will maintain admin status until they are downgraded. See help article on downgrading admins for more information.
  •  Add as an app user: you will see this icon if the event was cloned with the previous admin. The admin will be able to log into the admin portal. However, they will only be able to log into the app and CB scanning (if purchased) IF they are also added as users. Click on the "user-plus" icon to add them as a user in the event. Once you click on the icon, it will take you to the edit user screen.

2. Click Add Admin to add a new app administrator - see steps below.

Add Admin User

To add a new admin, select the Add Admin tab next to Manage Admins.

Start by entering a unique email address for the admin user. This will be used for BOTH their frontend (app) and backend (admin portal) login.

Provide a first and last name to distinguish your administer user.

Enter their password to use for BOTH frontend (app) and backend (admin portal) login.

Lastly, the permissions checkbox will control how much access they have over the app. A customer admin can manage all aspects of the app. If you prefer this admin user not having these permissions, simply uncheck the box.

When finished, select the Add Admin button at the bottom of the screen.

Admin Password Reset

If at any time as an app administrator you forget your admin portal password, you can reset it at the login screen.

Visit your admin portal URL, which was provided in your welcome email. Typically, the URL is in the following format: app.resultsathand.com/admin/APPNAME

Once you are at your admin portal login screen, tap the Reset Password button to reset your password. A new screen will appear asking for your admin portal email. Below is an example of the Reset Password screen.

Simply enter the email address for your admin portal login and we’ll send you an email to reset your password.
